PART A: Booking & Participation Conditions
1. Health & Safety
Footwear
For your safety, fully enclosed shoes (e.g. sneakers or boots) are required for the entire tour.
If you arrive without suitable footwear, you won’t be able to join the tour and refunds won’t be provided.
Mobility & Terrain
This tour includes short walks on uneven, unpaved, and sometimes slippery ground.
A moderate level of mobility is required. The tour may not be suitable if you:
- have limited mobility
- are recovering from surgery
- require a walking aid
If you’re unsure, please contact us before booking.
Getting On & Off the Vehicle
The tour uses a high-clearance 4WD vehicle.
Guests must be able to:
- climb steps to enter and exit the vehicle
- do so without assistance
Our guides are unable to lift or physically support guests. A step-stool is provided, but you must be able to use it independently.
Pregnancy
The tour involves off-road travel over uneven terrain.
If you are pregnant, we strongly recommend speaking with your doctor before booking.
Skybury does not accept responsibility for any pregnancy-related complications.
Medical Conditions
Please let your guide know before the tour begins if you have any medical conditions that may be relevant in an emergency, such as:
- severe allergies (including bee stings)
- epilepsy
- heart conditions
- diabetes
2. Children
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Parents/guardians are fully responsible for supervising children at all times, including:
- on the vehicle
- at all stops during the tour
By booking, you agree to these terms on behalf of any children in your group.
3. Weather
Tours run in most weather conditions.
However, we may cancel or change a tour if conditions are unsafe (e.g. storms, heavy rain, flooding).
If we cancel your tour, you’ll be offered:
- a full refund, or
- a transfer to another available date
Cancellations made by customers within 24 hours of the tour are non-refundable.
4. Behaviour & Safety Rules
For everyone’s safety, you must follow your guide’s instructions at all times.
We reserve the right to remove anyone from the tour if they:
- behave unsafely
- do not follow instructions
No refunds will be given in these situations.
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Smoking or vaping
- Alcohol consumption
- Standing or moving while the vehicle is moving
- Extending any part of your body outside the vehicle
- Touching or removing plants, produce, or farm property
PART B: Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By taking part in this tour, you acknowledge that:
- You are physically able to participate and in suitable health
- You understand this is a working farm environment, which includes risks such as:

- off-road vehicle travel
- uneven ground
- exposure to weather and heat
- contact with plants, insects, and animals (including snakes)
- the possibility of injury or illness
You agree that:
- You participate at your own risk
- Skybury and its staff are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage, including those resulting from negligence
- You will not make claims against Skybury or its staff for incidents arising from your participation
- If a claim is made on your behalf, you agree to cover any related costs incurred by Skybury
By proceeding, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood this waiver
- You are agreeing to it voluntarily
PART C: Biosecurity Declaration
Skybury is a working farm. To protect our crops from pests and disease, all visitors must complete this declaration.
In the past 7 days, have you:
v- Visited another farm, nursery, or agricultural property in Australia?
- Visited a farm or rural area overseas?
- Had contact with livestock, poultry, or exotic animals?
- Handled soil, plants, or produce from another farm?
Important
If you answered YES, you may still be able to join the tour, but:
- additional precautions may be required (such as using a footbath)
- you must follow all instructions from your guide
Please do not touch plants, soil, or produce unless invited to do so.
By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you confirm:
- Your answers are true and accurate
- You understand that incorrect information may put the farm at risk
- You may be removed from the tour without a refund if biosecurity rules are not followed
