I’ve tried coffee beans from all over—Ethiopian Sidamo and Harrar are longtime favorites for their bold flavors, and I really enjoy Costa Rican Brunca for something lighter and fruitier. I didn’t expect much from this Skybury Peaberry Roast, but it completely surprised me.

It’s a lighter roast with a dark chocolate edge—rich but not heavy. There’s a really smooth chocolate aftertaste that sticks around in a good way. It’s not as punchy or intense as some Ethiopian coffees, but still has a lot of depth. I made it as espresso for a cappuccino, and it was instantly one of the best I’ve had at home.

Haven’t tried it for drip or cold brew yet, so I can’t speak to that. But as an espresso roast, it’s excellent. I’ll definitely be ordering it again, and am happy to recommend it without hesitation.

No doubt - we love to support and buy Australian grown produce .. BUT when we get a new product with a use by date 12 mths into the future - we needed to ask ‘when was this product roasted’ ?
